De geschiedenis van de Volpino Italiano in Nederland is zeer kort, voor zover ik heb kunnen nagaan in het NHSB, Nederlands HondenStamBoek uitgegeven en beheerd door de Raad van Beheer.

De Volpino verschijnt voor het eerst in het stamboek in 1992, als 3 Volpino's uit Italië worden geïmporteerd.

Eén reu, An Exclusive Night (G2-1900022), geb: 24-04-1992, V: Urano della Volpe Candida, M: Urania della Volpe Candida, eig. Willems te Tilburg en 

twee teefjes, de zusjes: Ami della Volpe Candida (G2-1900022) en Alleluia della Volpe Candida (1900943), geb: 27-04-1992,V: Zed della Volpe Candida, M: Uri della Volpe Candida geregistreerd op M. Hoefnagels te Etten-Leur. 

In 1993 fokt Willems onder de kennelnaam Macho's een nest. Op 15-09-1993 worden 5 pups (4/1) geboren uit An Exclusive Night en Ami: Ceasar, Nero, Octavius, Caligula en Signorina (1913530-1913534). 

Op 19-05-1994 wordt 1 teefje geboren uit An exclusive night met Alleluia: Amorosa (1938009). 

Hoefnagels fokt in 1995 onder de kennelnaam v. 't Leurse Hoefpad twee keer een  nest met Alleluia. Een keer met Macho's Ceasar, 5 pups (4/1) geboren op 16-01-1995: Berry, Bjorn, Boy, Barry en Brenda (1982278-1982282). En een half jaar later met zijn broer Macho's Nero (1913531). Dat levert 3 pups (1/2) op 25-08-1995: Carlo, Ceri, Cara (2023165-2023167). 

Daarna is het stil! Tot 2007 als Anita, roepnaam Joli, geïmporteerd wordt en 2008 officieel wordt ingeschreven onder nhsb-nummer 2714602.

In 2010 krijgt Joli een nestje van 3 reutjes van Questore dell'Antica Etruria, aangezien 'Volpino' in de naam door de Raad van Beheer wordt afgekeurd heten de puppen: Volpe Vlo, Volpe Vlokje, Volpe Vlinder Parcodaini (nhsb 2804196/8)

Dus geïmporteerd totaal: 4 Volpino's (1/3)

Aantal nesten totaal: 5 

Aantal pups totaal: 17, waarvan 12 reutjes en 5 teefjes.

The history of the Volpino in Holland is very short, as far as I have been able to track down in the NHSB, the Dutch registry of pedigrees.

The Volpino occurs for the first time in the Dutch studbook in 1992, when 3 Volpinos are imported from Italy.

One male, An Exclusive Night (G2-1900022), born 24-04-1992, F: Urano della Volpe Candida, M: Urania della Volpe Candida, owned by Willems and

two bitches, sisters: Ami della Volpe Candida (G2-1900022) and Alleluia della Volpe Candida (1900943), born 27-04-1992, F: Zed della Volpe Candida, M: Uri della Volpe Candida, registered to M. Hoefnagels.

In 1993 Willems breeds 1 litter with kennelname Macho's. On 15-09-1993 5 puppies (4/1) are born out of the combination An Exclusive Night and Ami: Ceasar, Nero, Octavius, Caligula and Signorina (1913530-1913534). 

On 19-05-1994 1 bitch is born from An Exclusive Night and Alleluia: Amorosa (1938009). 

In 1995 Hoefnagels breeds a litter twice with Alleluia with kennelname v. 't Leurse Hoefpad. Once with Macho's Ceasar, 5 puppies (4/1) born 16-01-195: Berry, Bjorn, Boy, Barry and Brenda (1982278-1982282). And half a year later using his brother Macho's Nero (1913531). That results into 3 puppies (1/2) born on 25-08-1995: Carlo, Ceri, Cara (2023165-2023167). 

That's it! Untill in 2007 when Anita, called Joli, is imported from Italy and registered in 2008 under nhsb 2714602.

In 2010 Anita gets a litter of 3 males sired by Questore dell'Antica Etruria, as the Dutch Kennelclub does not allow 'Volpino' in the name, the puppies are called: Volpe Vlo, Volpe Vlokje, Volpe Vlinder Parcodaini (nhsb 2804196/8)

So totally imported: 4 Volpino's (1/3)

Total number of litters: 5 

Total number of puppies: 17, of which 12 males and 5 bitches.
